The Artist describes her Art as Contemporary. The work is constructed/built from various media including recycled materials. Hart has traveled to speak with survivors of hurricanes and volunteers her time at cancer centers.
Her various and numerous works fall in the category of Abstract Art. She has achieved numerous awards and accolades, as well as being chair on boards. The artist works in North Carolina near her family and it’s business, and Hart has a mural painted on the building’s exterior walls in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. She feels she is ‘compelled to make art’, and enjoys the creative process to explore emotive responses. She states she is ‘looking for hope in adversity’ through her images.
Hart studied at The New York Institute of Technology in New York where she received her degree. Hart was selected for a juried show at Atlantic Gallery in NYC. Hart has also participated in Art Basel in Miami through the Hampton Art Lovers Gallery in Miami, Florida. She has an upcoming exhibition in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the Contemporary Art Museum called “Drawn”.
